How each number is calculated

  • Missed calls: missed calls/day × open days × 4.33 weeks × % who wanted to book × average ticket × margin.
  • No-shows: weekly covers × no-show rate × 4.33 × average ticket × margin. Assumes the table doesn't get refilled.
  • Delivery commission: third-party sales × commission rate, minus what a 5% direct-ordering platform would cost on the same volume.
  • Lost repeat business: a guest who joins a list and gets messaged returns roughly 1 extra time per quarter. With no list, that visit never happens. Scaled to your sales volume.
  • Reputation gap: published research puts each half-star of Google rating at roughly 5–9% of revenue. We use the conservative end against a 4.5-star benchmark.
